Step Terra

Privacy, in plain words.

Effective October 26, 2026

Step Terra uses your steps to run a walking game. We keep the information needed to save your island and show the parts of the game you choose to share.

What the app uses

With your permission, the app reads your daily step total from Apple Health or Health Connect. It does not request your location, heart rate, or other health records. When you play online, Step Terra sends daily and lifetime step totals to its game database to calculate tokens, progress, and leaderboards. The app also stores your island layout, items, avatar, name, friends, groups, and visit activity.

Your account

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or a code sent to your email. The sign-in provider handles your identity; Step Terra receives an account identifier and, when supplied, an email address. We use these to save your game and restore it when you sign in again.

What other players see

Your player name, island name, and step counts may appear on leaderboards. Friends and group members can see the parts of your island and activity allowed by your in-game privacy settings. Do not use a name you would not want other players to see.

Where data goes

Supabase hosts accounts and game saves. Apple and Google process sign-in when you choose those options. Step Terra does not sell your data and does not use your health information for advertising. This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can play locally without signing in, change your in-game sharing settings, or revoke step access in your device settings. Local progress remains on that device. To request a copy of your online data or deletion of your account and cloud save, email mustafamyildiz33@gmail.com from the address on your account. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting.

Changes and contact

We will update this page if the app’s data practices change. Questions about your data can be sent to mustafamyildiz33@gmail.com.
